Spaghetti Up and Down

Skywalker's Bolognese: Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce. PhP155.00

Spaghettis are staple merienda treat for kids, and kids at heart--- hmm atleast that homemade spaghetti with the sauce from the tetra, or that one from Jollibee or McDo. Not everybody would love the Italian sauce, because it's herb-y and sour-y at first bite. This one is a spaghetti bolognese, originally from Bologna, Italy, but adapted and mixed with local flavors--- to please the local palates. This can be served with other pastas, but the Diner chose a regular spaghetti pasta.

I don't know but everytime I eat spaghetti, it's just non-stop, until I get bundat--- I can eat 3 to 4 servings of whole plate spaghetti (or any pasta dish for that matter). Hmm. This I know *that spaghetti pasta before was stuffed with meat and spicies, and called in Sicily as "Vermicelli" which translates to "thin worms". It was not until 1154 that spaghetti existed in Italy.--- And back then it was only the upper class that could feast on this delectable dish.

We have a version similar to the spaghetti bolognese of the west--- 炸醬麵 or Zha Jiang Mian.
